Machik Labdron thangka is beautiful hand painted Tibetan thangka depicts Machik Labdron མ་ཅིག་ལབ་སྒྲོན་. Her name means “Singular Mother Torch from Lab”. She is considered a reincarnation of Yeshe Tsogyal ཡེ་ཤེས་མཚོ་རྒྱལ, Guru Rinpoche’s main consort. Machik Labdron was a female master who initiated in Tibet and Bhutan the lineage of the practice of Chö གཅོད་ (‘cutting through’ ego-clinging) and the main disciple of Padampa Sangye ཕ་དམ་པ་སངས་རྒྱས.
