Our journey began in the heart of Kathmandu, where the ancient art of Thangka painting has flourished for over a thousand years. Founded by Tenzin Dorje, a Tibetan art historian and devoted Buddhist practitioner, our gallery was born from a simple yet profound vision: to preserve this sacred tradition while making it accessible to spiritual seekers worldwide.
Growing up in a monastery, Tenzin witnessed firsthand how these sacred paintings served as powerful tools for meditation and spiritual development. He also saw how this ancient craft was being threatened by modernization and economic pressures facing traditional artists.
In 2010, we opened our doors with a commitment to work directly with master artists, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their sacred work. Today, we're proud to partner with over 50 master artists across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, helping preserve this tradition for future generations.
Every Thangka in our collection tells a story—not just of the deity or mandala depicted, but of the artist's devotion, skill, and spiritual practice. When you acquire a piece from us, you're not just buying art; you're supporting a living tradition and connecting with centuries of wisdom.
Our Promise
Every piece is blessed by monks and comes with a certificate of authenticity
To preserve and promote the sacred art of Thangka painting by supporting traditional artists, educating collectors, and making authentic spiritual art accessible to practitioners worldwide while maintaining the highest standards of quality and authenticity.
A world where traditional Thangka art thrives, where master artists receive recognition and fair compensation for their sacred work, and where spiritual seekers can easily connect with authentic pieces that enhance their meditation practice and spiritual journey.
These principles guide everything we do, from artist partnerships to customer service
We work exclusively with master artists who follow traditional techniques passed down through generations, ensuring every piece is genuine and spiritually crafted.
Each Thangka undergoes rigorous quality checks. We only offer artwork that meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and artistic excellence.
By supporting traditional artists, we help preserve this ancient art form and ensure it continues to thrive for future generations.
We reinvest in artist communities, providing fair wages, training programs, and resources to sustain this sacred craft.
